How does the buffer tank work?

This small video representing the principles of the buffer tank, this example shows buffer tanks connection in the classic environment family house to radiators, hot water, boiler, fireplace insert and the solar system.

Text:

The buffer tank serves as a repository hot water for heating and DHW.
The buffer tank is connected to the main heat source.
In this case the boiler.
Solar collectors heat a separate circuit, that heats the buffer tank through the lower heat.
Another source may be fireplace.
Third stainless steel heat exchanger can be connected to the DHW.
The accumulated heat from the tank goes to the radiators
The stainless steel heat exchanger hot water DHW.
The buffer tank are outputs for thermometers,
and heater powered by electricity.
Heater with thermostat can be used to regulate the temperature in the buffer
tank.
The buffer tank should be properly insulated.
For example, 10 cm glass fiber.
Glass fiber supplements sail.
When used correctly, the buffer tank
• Improve efficiency
• reduces emissions
• saves boiler and chimney
• allows you to combine multiple sources
• and finally reduces fuel consumption
