JACK MORRIS MAKES RACIST JOKE ON Shohei Ohtani

Jack Morris made a racist remark about Angel's slugger Shohei Ohtani. Was it really racist? You be the judge.

During the sixth inning of last night's Tigers/Angels matchup, Tigers analyst Jack Morris let loose a racist, stereotypical accent, seemingly mocking English-speaking Asians as Shohei Ohtani was stepping up to the plate: "Be very, very careful," Morris said of Ohtani in the accent.

"Well, folks, Shohei Ohtani is at the plate, and it has been brought to my attention that I sincerely apologize if I offended anybody, especially anybody in the Asian community for what I said about pitching and being careful about Shohei Ohtani. I did not intend for any offensive thing, and I apologize if I did. I certainly respect and have the utmost respect for this guy, and I don't blame the pitcher for walking him." The Detroit Tigers have yet to comment
