Entry Requirements:
1. To enter, submit a comment on this video and/or any other video published on my channel (Auxhart Gardening) from now (Dec 11) through Dec 31, 2021.
2. Each comment counts as an entry, except when there are two or more comments from the same user on a single video, and in this case only one entry will be recorded.
3. You must be 18 or older to enter.

Winner Requirements:
1. All winners must be able to receive mail at a US address. In the event a winner is chosen who cannot receive mail at a US address, a new random winner will be chosen.
2. Winners must claim their prize by sending an email to hello.rachel.andorfer@gmail.com with an address that can receive the prize. If a winner does not claim their prize within 4 days of winning, a new random winner will be chosen. This deadline is chosen because South Carolina law dictates that a prize must be delivered to a winner within 10 days of winner announcement.
3. Winners will be announced via a video uploaded to my channel (Auxhart Gardening) in January, 2022.

Prizes:
1. There will be (3) equal prizes, each consisting of nine packets of seeds saved from my personal garden. Seed varieties include: mixed sunflowers, chinese red noodle beans, glass gem corn, dill, purple russian tomato, fish pepper (hot), black spanish radish, rouge d'hiver lettuce, and cinnamon basil, and each prize has a market value of approximately 20 USD.

Privacy:
1. Information gathered via this contest will be used solely for the purpose of communicating with the winners about their prize and for delivering the prize. This information will not be shared with (or sold to) any other person or company for any reason, and will not be stored for more than 60 days after the contest has ended.
2. By entering this contest, in the event that you win you agree that I, Rachel Andorfer, can use and store your email address and mailing address for the purpose of communicating with you about your prize and for shipping your prize to you.

Welcome to Auxhart Gardening! I’m Rachel, a small-scale southern gardener growing near Clemson, SC, zone 7b. I mainly garden in-ground, with containers as secondary production spaces.

Knowing where your food comes from is powerful, and empowering, and I believe we can change the world through gardening education.

The agricultural system is broken; we’ve monocultured nearly every major crop, forcing the use of chemical pesticides and inorganic fertilizers to maintain large-scale food production. I believe there’s a better way.

By teaching people to rely on themselves, even just a little, for their food supply, we might be able to create some breathing room for our strained food system, allowing for change to start happening.

By educating people about where food comes from and how to grow it, we can raise awareness about our broken agricultural system and form a community that understands how to fix it.

By forming a community, we can move toward creating real change in the world.

My goal is to educate; yes you can grow food, yes you can do it without chemicals, yes you can do it in your backyard or on your windowsill. And yes, that can make a difference in the world.
