BETTER THAN KTM OR HUSKY!?!?!? FIRST RIDE: 2021 Honda CRF450RX

Could it be???? After 19 years on a KTM (the last 3 years on a Husqvarna), I rolled the dice and went with the All New 2021 Honda CRF450RX.
A little about myself: I'm a 41 year old East Coast B Classer that races GNCC, NEPG and any local races that I can make time for. Until 2017, The only bikes I've ever ridden, all had two things in common...

#2: 2 Stroke
In 2017 I pulled the trigger on a 2018 Husqvarna FX350, which I quickly fell in love with. I put 180 hours on her (mostly racing hours) and could probably get a season or two more out of her, but I wanted a freshie!

The Review:
Honestly the bike is nothing like what I imagined...manageable power, smooth response, corners like it's on rails, the list goes on and on. The wide ratio transmission is perfect for single track and has uncanny tractability at low AND medium RPM. Within 30 minutes of riding it, I was as comfortable, if not a bit more, than I am on my FX350 (with FC suspension, Rekluse, etc...). It reacts a lot like the 300XCs that I've owned over the years, with a bit more romp.

Long story short, I've read the reviews online...I've seen all of the banter regarding the all new 2021 Honda. It's just not accurate. This bike is absolutely amazing and a total blast to ride. There is still some R&D needed, especially in tight nasty single track, so I will return with a Part 2.
