Clouds Chasing the Moon 《彩云追月》中美意三国钢琴家合奏

Today is the Spring Lantern Festival. It is a Chinese festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar Chinese calendar. Usually falling in February or early March on the Gregorian calendar, it marks the final day of the traditional Chinese New Year celebrations. During the Lantern Festival, children go out at night carrying paper lanterns and solve riddles on the lanterns. Making Tangyuan or Yuanxiao has become a lantern Festival tradition as well.

Back in lockdown, we made this video in collaboration with KCCA for a CCTV music show. The music depicts the colorful clouds chasing the moon on the fifteenth day of the month. Today, we'd like to share it with you again. We were glad that even during the darkest hours, we had music accompanying us, bringing us joy and love.
