MOVING 40 TONS of fabrication equipment into the NEW SHOP building - Rays Projects update No3

MOVING day is finally here!! progress on the shop has been very slow to say the least, but we finally have electricity in the shop, compressed air supply, and the machine movers had an opening in their schedule....

so the time had finally come to move 80,000lbs of equipment!!!
yes it is 40 tons of equipment. it took two fully loaded Landoll trailers to get the machines moved. the trailers are only rated to carry 40,000 lbs so the load had to be carefully placed and each machines location on the trailer was specifically chosen to distribute the weight evenly. notice in the videos how the trailers deflect!!! it is quite impressive.

what it took:
- the riggers had 3 tractor trailers full of equipment
- we rented an additional 2 tractor trailers with Landoll trailers on them to move the actual machines
- the move was form our building 20 miles away to our new building
- it took 1 full day to move everything
- total cost ALOT!!!
