Tired of the back-and-forth emails just to schedule a meeting? In this video, we show you how to use the Google Calendar Appointment Schedule feature to create a professional booking page. This tool allows others to see your real-time availability and book appointments directly on your calendar based on the slots you define.

We cover everything from setting your weekly hours and adding buffer times to customizing your booking form with required fields like phone numbers. You'll also see a live demo of the booking process from both the sender's and receiver's perspectives, including how the slots automatically disappear once they are reserved. Note: While this feature is powerful, we also explain the limitations of the free Google plan versus premium versions.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1 - Open Google Calendar: On your computer, click the + Create button in the top-left corner and select Appointment schedule.
2 - Define Your Service: Enter a title (e.g., "Consultation" or "Repair Appointment") and set the Appointment duration (e.g., 30 or 60 minutes).
3 - Set Your Hours: Specify which days and times you are available. You can easily remove days (like weekends) or add multiple time blocks to a single day if you take a mid-day break.
4 - Configure Advanced Timing: * Scheduling Window: Decide how far in advance people can book (default is 60 days) and the minimum lead time (default is 4 hours).
* Buffer Time: Check this box to add a "cushion" between appointments so you aren't booked back-to-back.
5 - Customize the Booking Page: Choose your meeting location (Google Meet, In-person, or Phone) and add a helpful description or a link to your website.
6 - Edit the Booking Form: By default, Google asks for Name and Email. Click Add an item to require a phone number or a custom question for your guests.
7 - Share Your Link: Once saved, click Share to get a direct link you can put in your email signature or an embed code for your website.
8 - Manage Your Bookings: When someone picks a slot, you will both receive a confirmation email, and the event will automatically appear on your Google Calendar. That time slot will then become unavailable to anyone else viewing your link.
