Live Match Fishing at Lodge Farm Fisheries Thistle Lake

This week I'm back out match fishing with the Yorkshire Bandits.

Having never even seen the fishery, I really don't know what to expect other than it's a commercial and it's likely to be short pole fishing on Lodge Farm Fisheries on Thistle Lake.

I decide to go with a fairly simple plan that can be adapted and therefore I choose to go paste fishing for carp which will allow me to put some groundbait on the deck and loose feed over the top fishing banded caster shallow. If I feed heavy enough this may allow some bait onto the bottom to compliment any groundbait morsels and give me a chance to fish a full depth rig on the same line.

I setup several rigs and talk you through them and my adaptations as the session progresses.
