Butterfly IQ: Review of the portable handheld ultrasound

With the growing utilization of POCUS (Point of Care Ultrasound) examinations in medicine, portability and speed is King. The Butterfly IQ was the first handheld ultrasound approved that could plug right into your smart phone to provide a rapid and easy assessment of multiple organ systems. This is useful in critical care medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and more.

I have used this device for over a year, and this is my (unsponsored) review as a cardiologist. I discuss the pros as well as some of the cons of the device.
