South Carolina Snake Hunting Adventure with Famous Artist | Copperhead and Corn Snake Sighting!

Join us on our first herping trip of the year as we embark on a thrilling snake-hunting adventure in South Carolina's Francis Marion National Forest near Charleston. With the company of my wife, the internationally acclaimed artist Kate Rothra Fleming, we set out to explore the wilderness and uncover some of the most stunning reptilian creatures in the area.

On our journey, we stumbled upon a massive Copperhead and Corn Snake that left us awestruck! Not only that, but we also stumbled upon an Eastern Mud Turtle that had fallen victim to a leech attack, which I skillfully removed from its shell.

As avid wildlife enthusiasts, we're always seeking to explore and learn more about the stunning creatures that inhabit our world. During the isolation period last year, we found solace in nature by taking frequent field trips around our home in Charleston, South Carolina, often venturing into the Francis Marion National Forest, just an hour's drive from our doorstep.
