The recipe today called Three Cup Chicken, or “San Bei Ji” (三杯雞) is a popular dish in Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine. A cup of each of the three ingredients to create the sauce: rice wine, soy sauce, and sesame oil. But in reality, we don’t use 3 full cups of those 3 ingredients, we only use 1/3 cup for each ingredient. The taste is amazingly delicious, a excellent and easy to cook dish for dinner.

Ingredients
one whole chicken about 2.5 lbs
12 cloves of garlic
12 slices of ginger
2 red chili pepper
3 cloves of shallot
2 tbsp of oil
1 tbsp of black sugar
1/3 cup of sesame oil
1/3 cup of rice wine
'1/3 cup of soy sauce
2 cups of basil leaves
