The proposal!

Cathedral Rock, Sedona, AZ

I'm part of a Facebook group for styled shoots in which photographers and other creators collaborate, enjoy their respective arts, and build their portfolios while in most cases, the participating couples/models graciously have free access to the edited photo gallery. Carlo and I have already been part of a few shoots together and we've really enjoyed it!⁣⁣⁣

I posted in the group saying we'd be traveling to AZ on the off chance that a local photographer wanted to do a shoot. Photos are the best souvenirs after all.⁣⁣⁣

Fortunately, Aliece Empey (https://www.facebook.com/AlieceEmpey/) reached out to do a shoot together in Sedona! She was so fun to hang out with and before we knew it, the three of us became survival besties after getting lost while hiking down the Cathedral Rock trail in the dark together after the shoot 😂⁣⁣⁣

Little did I know that Carlo and Aliece secretly planned what is now one of the highlights of my entire life, and Aliece captured these moments so beautifully. We were even lucky enough that a random woman there recorded a video of the proposal that Carlo and I have already replayed a billion times. 🥺 Ugh my heart is so full as I write this and it still doesn't feel real lol. ⁣⁣⁣

But long story short, I SAID YES!!! ⁣⁣⁣

Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. I'm so lucky. 😭❤️ #MeantToBobey
