How to Heal Cracked or Split Fingertips.

I use Cyanoacrylate (CA glue) (Super Glue) to keep the split covered and closed. I apply it one time - and I'm done. It seals it closed for days and gives it time to heal. No pain. No mess. No bandages. No Neosporin. No ointments. No more hurting. I can continue to work and the crack will not reopen - and I won't get any more dirt in it. Wintertime dryness. Won't heal?
