How to Clean/Replace the Filter Screen in a Cadet Touchless Toilet

The Cadet Touchless Toilet has limited your contact with germs by removing the need for a handle. Just pass your hand by the sensor in order to activate the flush. Maintenance for the Cadet Touchless Toilet is also very simple. When you need to clean or replace the filter screens, simply follow these steps:
0:09 • Step 1: Close or shut off water supply
0:25 • Step 2: Remove the tank lid from the tank
0:29 • Step 3: Remove the battery pack from the bracket and set it to the side
0:36 • Step 4: Using an adjustable wrench, unfasten the hose from the flush valve and remove it
0:57 • Step 5: Using needle nose pliers, grasp the filter tab and remove it from the filter housing
1:18 • Step 6: Run the filter under water until the water runs clear. If needed, you can use a soft brush on the filter
1:30 • Step 7: Return the filter to the filter housing using light pressure, push to lock it into place
1:41 • Step 8: Fasten hose back to flush valve
1:55 • Step 9: Return the battery pack to the bracket
2:01 • Step 10: Cover the tank with the lid
2:07 • Step 11: Reconnect the water supply
