Building a cart for the new welder. From scraps (really!)
This cart is literally built from scrap materials (aka junk). I really hate it when someone reels you in by using the term "scraps", only to watch them pull raw steel from a pile in the yard. I know this is a long video which is often the kiss of death. I do learn a few tricks along the way, and I share those with you. Sorry for the unintentional excessive use of "fantastic". haha.
The process involved breaking down a bunch of exercise equipment I had salvaged over the years. After piling it up, I assessed the situation and devised a plan based on the available material. The plan went through a few modifications and I ended up with a welding cart that somewhat resembles a Star Wars X-wing fighter cockpit. I did have to buy new tubes for the tires from an old bike tow trailer.
As with most DIY videos, there is an inherent risk. I encourage you to get out there and make something happen, but please be careful. I am not there to hold your hand, so you are on your own.
