Puhipau at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival

In October of 1993 Puhipau and Joan Lander of the production team Nā Maka o ka ‘Āina travel to Yamagata, Japan, to screen their documentary, Act of War - The Overthrow of the Hawaiian Nation. Puhipau participates in a press conference given by the First Nations Film and Video World Alliance, and is interviewed by Tukoirangi Morgan of TV3 in Aotearoa. A filmmakers’ excursion to Mt. Zao and the film festival awards ceremony are included.
