“Oh, yeah. I'm extremely blessed. I'm so grateful to my family and all my team for having put up with me for ten years saying I'm still doing this project, and they were like, when is she going to be over it? And then having, you know, having these days is very encouraging because it's really hard to make a film and it's very hard. It took a toll on me as a as a mom, as a friend, as an actress, as a human being. And so, this is so encouraging to keep doing and shedding light on the community that need it most, using the arts in that way. So, I'm very, very grateful that.”

“I didn't hold it together. I don't know if you saw, I was shaking. He had to tell me to breathe because I was absolutely in shock. Having the whole team, all my producers, all my friends, my cousin, my family and the team in Amazon studios that were our home, having them just like applaud –they know how hard I on in this film. So it means so much to me to have this recognition.”

And I was like, I need to talk to you later, sir. And he was like, about what? I said about the million things that you write about. So yeah, it was great.”

“I'm overwhelmed. I can't believe it. I really. I really thought that the Koreans would win it because just it’s such a special and zeitgeist kind of show. And I'm so proud that the jury saw past the dresses and the royalness of it all and saw the story about hope and female leadership and behind it.”
