Stricter asylum rules to go into effect in Germany | DW News

Germany is preparing to introduce legislation that will make it easier to deport people whose asylum applications have been rejected. The country deported nearly 25,000 failed asylum-seekers last year. But more than 30,000 planned deportations did not place — often because the asylum-seekers went into hiding or pilots refused to take them against their will. Many of the flights carrying deportees depart from Munich Airport. DW's Marc Erath traveled to Munich to speak to people affected by the new laws.
