Learn how to solve a Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM) subnetting problem using the network address 45.10.12.0. In this tutorial, we allocate subnets for 10,000 hosts, 100 hosts, and 30 hosts while optimizing IP address usage.

Topics covered:

Host requirement calculation
CIDR notation
Subnet mask calculation
Network address assignment
Broadcast addresses
CCNA subnetting practice question
IP addressing design

This video is ideal for CCNA, CCNP, Network+, cybersecurity, and networking students preparing for exams or interviews.

NOTE: This is a live subnetting class that happened during one of our live sessions and some errors may be spotted in the video for corrections such as the "N.N.N.H" used to denote a "Class A" network instead of N.H.H.H during the bits representations as well as the IP representation of the /18 which fell into 4 blocks represented in the video; represented as (0-63, 64-95, 96...) instead of (0-63, 64-127, 128- 191, and 192-255). And Lastly, the 160 -224 blocks that contains 62 valid host as against 63 mentioned in the video.
