LEGO Speed Champions - 1985 Audi Sport quattro S1

Acquired this LEGO Speed Champions set recently even as it is a 2020 release because experts say it is one of the best performing and best looking race cars during its time. On my hands now, I agree with them.

The design of the set is quite simple, no not-so-complicated sub-assemblies, but still able to capture the features of the actual racing car, boxy as it is. The 2x3 lights in front are slight off-scale considering the limitations of LEGO pieces. This slightly covers the Audi Logo on the grill. But that’s just a minor one.
It was a fun and easy build overall, straight forward and less stickers that does not necessarily need strict alignments.
