Synchronicity was first coined by none other than psychologist Carl Jung in the middle of the 20th century, and he defined it as "meaningful coincidence," but he believed it was more than that. Jung believed that what powered synchronicity was meaning. Synchronicity is therefore purposeful, and its goal is to lead us deeper into ourselves.
