How to Turn ON or OFF Active Status on Facebook #facebooktips

Open the Facebook app and tap the menu (three lines) in the top right or bottom right corner.
Select Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.
Scroll down to the Audience and visibility section and tap Active Status.
Toggle Show when you're active off.
Confirm by tapping Turn off.

(Desktop/Web)
Click the Messenger icon in the top right corner.
Click the three-dot menu icon in the top right of the messenger dropdown.
Select Active Status.
Toggle the switch off and click Save.
