10/28/20 Slidell, LA - Hurricane Zeta Eyewall
On October 28, 2020 Hurricane Zeta made its way through portions of southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi. Winds in the inner eyewall ranged from 50-70 mph sustained with gusts as high as 90+ mph. The following video shows Austin and myself riding out the strongest part of the storm at the Home Depot parking lot in Slidell, LA. Winds knocked us around in the vehicle and also you can see a number of power flashes with the most intense gusts. Once the eye approached our location, things calmed down and in a hurry!
