William Arthur Wells CCC Memorial Trail, Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, AL

This video tells the Land Legacy Tale of the William Arthur Wells Memorial Trail at Monte Sano State Park. Bob Wells donated the 40-acre cathedral forest parcel to the State Park System with the condition that the trail through it be named in honor of his older brother (William Arthur) who died at the WWII Naval Battle at Leyte Gulf in October 1944. Journey with us as we explore old-growth trees and other natural wonders, just miles from downtown Huntsville, AL at Monte Sano State Park.
