Does Scaling Down CATCH YOU MORE FISH?

For this latest episode we headed to Reepham Fisheries, with another experiment in our sights (if you follow our channel you know we love experimenting!) and that was does scaling down your tackle actually catch you more fish?

It's a general opinion that scaling down your rig line and hook size, especially in the winter, can bring you more bites and more fish. That isn't something we disagree with either, but it got us thinking... how much of a difference does it actually make? We decided to try a little experiment.

The plan was to fish neatly and scaled down for 2 hours, to see what we could catch and then fish scaled up and heavy for 2 hours and then compare the weights caught.
