Xcelerator Testing (2002 Original Opening Date) - Knott's Berry Farm California

Xcelerator is an Intamin Accelerator roller coaster that has operated at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, USA since June 2002. It was Intamin's first hydraulically-launched roller coaster. We were there on the original opening date as part of the European Coaster Club's USA trip, however due to some technical issues the ride couldn't open and was only in testing mode. It was so disappointing to see it running and not being able to ride it. Video features various testing shots filmed on the day it was supposed to open - the coaster opened a couple of weeks later when we were back home in the UK.
