I traveled back to Cancun to celebrate my best friends birthday. This time we rented a car, and ventured to Tulum which was about an hour and a half drive from the Cancun Airport. I still felt extremely safe in Tulum, there was temperature checks all around, and sanitizing stations everywhere.

Having a car in Tulum was a major bonus because we weren't dependent on taxi's to get around which can get very expensive. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them below. Enjoy!
