Having in mind that one of our first videos was dedicated to the role of the railways in the First World War, as well as the fact that it maybe passed unnoticed due to certain technical shortcomings and issues, we decided to re-upload it after certain modifications. We hope you will enjoy and learn something new about the railways of the world.

- Did you know that most powerful European nations, at the dawn of 1914, built their war plans primarily around the RAILWAYS, due to fact that movement of troops and equipment at such scale, would otherwise not be possible. Because of that, many historians argue that mobilization of these armies by rail was such a complicated task that AT MOMENT IT WAS SET IN MOTION, THE FIRST WORLD WAR BECAME INEVITABLE.

- As you might guess, the contribution and the impact of railways to The Great War (WWI), is the topic of today's video on Railways Explained.
