Creedence Clearwater Revival ~ The Midnight Special (1969)

"Midnight Special" is a traditional folk song thought to have originated among prisoners in the American South. Sam Collins recorded the song commercially in 1927 under the title "The Midnight Special Blues". Creedence Clearwater Revival, among others, have recorded the song. Creedence version appeared on their album Willy and the Poor Boys (1969). (Wikipedia)
