Reptile World Serpentarium - St. Cloud (Orlando) Florida

Reptile World is located in St. Cloud FL and it features over 50 species of reptiles including, cottonmouth, easternback rattle snakes, cobras, alligators, turtles and many more. In addition to walking through the snake exhibit, you should plan your visit around one of the two daily venom shows which are held at noon and 3 pm. During the venom show, Reptile World owner and professional snake handler, George VanHorn, milks deadly snakes for their venom which is used for research and for the development of anti-venom formulas.

Life as a snake handler isn't always easy, in 1995, George was struck by a King Cobra and was hit with enough venom to bring down a full-size elephant. After spending 1 month in the hospital, George was back to work studying how venoms work.
