Open.HD Outdoor Non Line Of Sight Test (EZ wifibroadcast Branch)

This is a demonstration of the quality and resiliency of Open.HD which is based on and has updated compatibility with newer Hardware.

if you're willing to put in a little bit of time, set up is extremely easy and provides the cheapest solution for HD FPV.

Here is a download ink, This is NOT an official Open.HD Release, we really could use some help and feedback during real world testing. additional features and brief explanations are below.

basically every setting can be configured through the app except the hotspot "g" or "a" and channels.

It is default to "a" 5.8ghz ch 36 (for the recommended setup using RPI 3 B+ on the ground) 

Everything is pretty well documented in the Open.HD config Text file in terms of the new features. But, we're working on the wiki to better document them on the GitHub page. basically if you're familiar with the previous open HD or EZ wifibroadcast, most of the settings should look familiar. 

*The default settings are set to 40fps 8/4/1150 for FEC because it's what I found to work best in my environment.

Also, *****THERE IS A REMOTE SETTINGS OPTION IN TXT FILE TO SET "0" , "1" OR "ANY NUMBER OF SECONDS". 
"0"=Remote App Disabled Always (ground still connects if hotspot or USB tethering is used)
"1"=Remote App Enabled Always
"# Seconds"=2 way comm for app will terminate

+(MY DEFAULT IS 180 SECONDS)
•* whatever settings you like, reboot both air and ground.. Then, after the timer runs out, the remote settings automatically terminate so that it does not heat up valuable CPU especially with rpi0 in the air.

I don't have time at this exact moment to explain some of the things that I would like to, but just a couple notes about bugs and things to know.

1. Pi zero will spike to 100% shortly after boot, this is normal don't be alarmed. Also, anytime you change settings on the app, RPI zero air will Spike to 100% as the settings are applied to the air side.

2. Bandwidth Fixed Setting (ATHEROS ONLY) 
-You can now use 1/4 and 1/2 Bandwidth (5mhz/10mhz) instead of normal 20mhz. **This will as a result cut the video and data bitrate in a 1/2 or 1/4. Lower bandwidth generally means more range, I've tested this several times and it works pretty well but we do need to figure out what optimum back-off threshold parameters are, Treborlink has had some input on this. 

3. There is a Bandwidth Switching Feature (ATHEROS ONLY) 
!!! DO NOT FLY WITH RC 5/10/20 SWITCHER, IT IS FOR DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING PURPOSES ONLY. YOU ALSO NEED TO SET YOUR GROUND MAC ADDRESSES WITH MOST POWERFUL GROUND CARD AS "MASTER MAC ADDRESS". it is set by default on Channel 8 for a three position switch with pwm values.

4. RTL88XXAU Support (ONLY 5Ghz seems to work) ENCRYPTED RC OPTION NEEDS TO BE SET WITH CTS OFF IF INTENTION IS TO USE OPEN.HD RC WITHOUT ATHEROS. THIS CARD IS NOT VERY WELL TESTED YET, SO BE CAREFUL.

Overall, much more needs to be documented and explained. 

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RELEASE, PLEASE CONDUCT EXTENSIVE GROUND TESTING.

*It would be great if anybody could report back findings or optimal settings in real-world applications in the air or ground. 

Lastly, If to test this and, experiment with some of the settings and start to have problems, please don't report back saying it doesn't work without providing a link to the text file configuration and some basic info about the setup. there are some settings that can be applied in combination which can cause problems such as some band switcher and Mac address setting combinations.

overall, this is a much more stable cleaned up version of the old Open---HD Image which has been removed.

As I stated previously, when we have an official release it will be announced in combination with a brand new RC groups or other thread.
