Mic Comparison on 14" Tom - Behringer SL 75C, Superlux PRA 218A, Sennheiser e602 II, Shure SM62

I ventured deep underground in Central Europe to the iconic Fiat Studios to test a few mics... That sounds better than the parking garage in Geneva, Switzerland, in the back of my van, eh? The test drum is a Tama Silverstar birch 14" floor tom with a Remo Emperor coated batter, and the original Tama single-ply reso. The mics are a Behringer SL 75C, Superlux PRA 218A, Sennheiser e602 II – all brand new – and a Shure SM62 that I've had since my early teens.

Mics are plugged into a Zoom H6 via XLR with no processing.
