After the great war, a nuclear catastrophe struck the world. Those caught in the radiation became mindless zombies, existing only to destroy. Cities were destroyed and civilisation collapsed. The Galactic Imperium wrote the planet off as condemned and ordered the Superweapon "Murder Sun" to wipe the planet out.

Zilp awoke, dazed and covered in blood. His home city a smoking ruin overran with raiders and the undead. On the floor was a small evacuation notice. Determined to survive, he gathered his trusty wrench and set to work preparing for the long journey to safety.
