Building My Homestead on 2/3 Acre: Learning Homesteading Skills, Raising Animals, and Growing Fruit

As a woman with a dream of creating a real homestead, I'm working with what I have on my 2/3 acre property. While it's not a large farm, I'm committed to learning essential homesteading skills for self-sufficiency. I raise a variety of animals, including chickens, ducks, and geese, while also nurturing a diverse orchard with 30 fruit, nut, and citrus trees, as well as grapevines. Although my gardening journey has had its challenges, I'm focused on mastering sustainable growing techniques and exploring food preservation methods to make the most of my harvests. With each lesson, I’m building my knowledge for a more independent and sustainable future.
