All-new Toyota VENZA 2021 - Ultimate Hybrid SUV

The 2021 Toyota Venza is a two-row hybrid crossover SUV that’s smaller than the three-row Highlander, and largely based on the RAV4. While the Venza is a new entry in Toyota's 2021 SUV lineup, it revives a name that was retired after the 2015 model year.

Venza will be offered in LE, XLE, and Limited trims. The best value of the bunch will likely be the XLE, which will come standard with front and rear parking sensors, passive keyless entry, and 19-inch aluminum wheels.

The Venza will be offered exclusively as a hybrid, powered by a setup comprised of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine and three electric motors which together develop 219 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard: One of the electric motors powers the Venza's rear wheels while the gasoline engine and the other two motors work to spin the fronts.

Toyota claims that the Venza will receive a city/highway combined fuel economy rating as high as 40 mpg, which is almost double the ratings of other two-row mid-size SUVs such as the Honda Passport and the Ford Edge.

An 8.0-inch. Touchscreen will be standard on the Venza and will stand proudly atop the SUV's dashboard; a larger 12.3-inch display will be optional on the XLE and standard on the Limited. No matter which display is chosen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa connectivity will come standard, as well as SiriusXM satellite radio. Upgrading to the larger of the two displays also unlocks in-dash navigation and adds a nine-speaker JBL premium stereo system.
