First trail ride and crash on the new 2023 Marin San Quentin 1
We focused only on riding the San Quentin in this video but we did a quick video a few weeks back about the specs and features of the new 2023 Marin San Quentin 1 and how it compared to the previous generation.
That video is here:

The weather has been cold and wet in Houston but we finally had a break to get out and about and ride the new San Quentin 1 for 2023 and see how it performed.
At $999 this is a beginner aggressive trail bike for those looking to jump and ride hard (although we do have some buyers that just want to cruise the streets with it too). Either way, it is a great way to get into the sport or upgrade an older geometry bike you may have laying around.
Jared, who works at the shop was nice enough to give it a go and use some of his skills and test it out (my skills as you can see are lacking at times!).
We had a great time on the bike and look forward to doing some upgrades on it in a future video. It is designed to be an aggressive trail bike and for 2023 feels even more DJ (Dirt Jumper) than before which makes it a lot of fun.
No, you don’t need to update it right away and most probably will be fine with the stock components. For us though, we notice things more and want to experiment as we have customers and viewers that ask about upgrades. Stay tuned for those videos. #bikingroots, #marinbikes, #marinsanquentin
