Wellington Southern Bluefin Tuna

Its the first time that Im aware of that we have had massive numbers of bluefin tuna this far south, so we couldnt miss a chance at one, and after only getting albacore tuna the first attempt we managed to get one on our second day.

While these are just juvenile fish, they fight just as good on light tackle as they do when they are 100kg plus, on heavy gear, they also taste just as amazing and its amazing how much meat you get off a 12kg fish.
