Sarabi isn't inlove with Mufasa even though they're betrothed. Sarabi is always sneaking out to meet Scar in the pridelands. But Mufasa, always following tradition closely and having some feelings for Sarabi, feels betrayed and punishes his brother and yells at Sarabi. Blah blah

Scar feels betrayed by Sarabi when she finally warms up to Mufasa and has a cub of their own.
