Reorder overlapping line charts in Power BI (New 2021)

Line charts with series must overlap somehow but often you want to choose which is in front, now with new functionality since the Oct release you can do that, it requires a combination of Power Query, modelling and visual amendments but I cover it all in a 4 min video.

1. In Power Query add an index column from 2, then a conditional column saying to mark 1 for the preferred line series , then index otherwise
2. Use sort by column to sort your series col by the new conditional column
3. In your line chart sort the legend, even if you don't have a legend this still works well
