Ruston Hornsby 5HR longer run slowed down

Working with the governor and spill valve to lower the rpm. She was running ~300 rpm (rated 340) but with the governor spring at minimum. I moved the spill valve wedge in to slow it down but there’s a problem with the governor main spring still. I think the governor needs to come off and apart for cleaning/set up/ inspection. Next on my long list I guess.
