This is the final part of the Ladies of the Lakes series.

It's 1988, three years since Peter Hogg, the husband of Margaret Hogg, had been charged with the manslaughter of his wife. By now he'd served out his sentence, but soon after he walked free, an uncannily similar situation to his own began to unfold, and history was to repeat itself for a third time. This is the case of Sheena Owlett, the forgotten lady of the lake.
