The Enid - In The Region of the Summer Stars (1976 mastertapes first edition)

This is The Enid's first album, released on EMI Group Limited in 1976. This pressing is by BUK records, the Black Label pressing released in the UK the same year. A personal favorite of mine, you can find the other three classic period albums on my channel too. I intend no copyright infringement and only want to spread the amazing music Robert John Godfrey and co. have made throughout the years. In 2006, Robert John Godfrey announced a remarkable message: "During the course of the coming months, I shall be making the whole of The Enid catalogue freely downloadable on high quality MP3.

The purpose of this is to make sure that The Enid's music reaches as many people as possible and does not entirely disappear when I am dead. The Enid represents my life's work and I want it and what it contains to live on in those who warm to it. Having taken this decision it may well influence the way I think about The Enid and may drive me to do some more." Quoted from ProgRockMain article for the group.

While I am unsure if said MP3s are still available, I figured that YouTube would be the best outlet for getting The Enid's back catalogue to as many people who want to listen. I am a college freshman who got into The Enid about a year ago and their music captivated me from my first listen. I hope people like them as much as I do. With that said, if the band has any issue with my uploads of their music, please, let me know and I will remove anything and everything related about the band from my channel. Ideally, if these videos become popular, I would like to run ads on them with all revenue going to the band. Not only will people find some fantastic music but it will also help the band sustain as they are active to this moment.
