In Malaysia, perhaps nobody knows the water better than a group whose name literally means ‘sea gypsies.’ For generations, the Bajau people have lived off the sea, but there is growing concern about whether they can sustain their lifestyle. Berta Tilmantaite travelled to Sabah in Malaysia, where she saw firsthand how the Bajau people live.
