Folks have been visiting Ocala's Silver Springs since shortly after the American Civil War. During the Golden Age of Movies, it was a popular filming location. Then it was operated as a nature-based theme park with rides and zoo animals. Today, it's operated as a Florida State Park. The one consistent? Tours of the springs via the park's world famous glass bottom boats.
