Xur is available every weekend from Friday 09:00 GMT/UTC till Sunday 09:00 GMT/UTC.

Xur sells exotic armor pieces, one for each class (Titan, Hunter, Warlock) every week. He also sells a random exotic weapon and two exotic weapon bundles with ornament. To buy exotic armor and weapon from Xur you will need Strange Coins. To buy exotic weapon bundles you will need Strange Coins and Silver Dust.

You can also buy several other useful items from Xur for Strange Coins like Heavy Ammo Synthesis, Three of Coins, Glass Needles, Exotic Shard and Mote of Light.
Xur is in average form this week. Buying recommendation: 3/6.

Titan: Twilight Garrison exotic chest armor - Tactical Air Support: Press O,O while airborne to evade. One of the most useful exotics for a Titan, definitely BUY it.

Hunter: Radiant Dance Machines exotic leg armor - You move more quickly while aiming your weapon. This is a useless exotic, buy it only to complete your collection.

Warlock: Sunbreakers exotic gauntlet - Increases the duration of your Solar Grenade while gaining an additional Solar Grenade. One of the most useful exotics for a Warlock, definitely BUY it.

Weapon: Super Good Advice exotic machine gun - Missed shots may be returned to the magazine. Landed shots may be replaced in the magazine from your reserves. In principle this should be a good weapon but there are similar weapons that do not take up an exotic slot, buy it only to complete your collection.

Weapon Bundle: Mida Multi-Tool and Arctic Survivalist exotic scout rifle. This weapon boosts move speed and fires on a hair trigger. This is a very good scout rifle especially in the crucible. Definitely BUY it.

Weapon Bundle: Truth and Prototype exotic rocket launcher. Rounds fired from this weapon seek their targets aggressively. Truth is a good rocket launcher in principle, however in practice it turns out to be not good at all, buy it only to complete your collection.
