Shady Grove

This is a popular tune, of which is also used in Matty Groves. That song is much more dark as the husband kills the wife and lover. I think this variation originated in America and has a happier feel. I am trying to pick up flat picking so this is still a bit rough (sorry). Also I got a bit tongue tied in the middle, then my fingers got fat at the end. Oh well, I reserve the right for do overs. Anyways, the words from this are from a version that Doc Watson did. There are many versions of the lyrics, but I chose to do these.
