Warner Robins opens first full-service homeless shelter after three-year effort

After three years of planning and delays, city leaders officially cut the ribbon Friday on Warner Robins’ first full-service homeless shelter, the Haven Hope House.

The new facility aims to provide more than just a bed. City leaders say it will be a space for residents to find long-term stability through support programs and community partnerships.

They hope to turn Haven Hope House into a 90-day program where people find not only shelter but also stability.

As guests cheered during the ribbon cutting, many reflected on what the shelter represents for the city.
