Killing Camera Vibration Noise | Akaso EK7000 Pro Action Cam Hack | Boats & Kayaks

If you've ever mounted an action camera on a boat and ended up with that awful low-frequency rumble or rattling buzz in your audio — you're not alone. Impact vibration from waves, hull resonance, and mechanical connections (like rudder pedals) create sounds that were never there in real life but get picked up loud and clear on camera.
Here's a cheap, simple fix: thin black velvet fabric from a jewelry box insert, fitted inside the waterproof case. It dampens both shaking vibration and impact noise significantly — and this video proves it with before-and-after samples from three very different boats.

📹 Camera: Akaso EK7000 Pro (in waterproof case)
🔧 Fix: Jewelry box velvet fabric lining inside waterproof case
🎯 Problem Solved: Hull vibration, wave impact noise, mechanical resonance (rudder pedal connection)
🚤 Test Platforms:

1970s Montgomery Ward Sea King 1436 aluminum boat — 9.9HP Nissan outboard
Perception Sealion sea kayak
1950s Lonestar Admiral runabout — Honda 25HP 4-Stroke outboard
💬 Not a perfect fix yet — but a meaningful improvement. Follow along as the testing continues.
