Brian Shaw Trains the 300lb Cyr Bell

The 300 lb. Cyr Bell replica is the heavier one at the Arnold. The other dumbbell will weight 274 lbs. Very few people in the world can lift the 274 lb. dumbbell, let alone the 300.

Louis Cyr (1863-1912) was a famous strongman held as the strongest man in the world for decades. He was a logger, police officer, and tavern owner before becoming famous for his feats of strength, even performing for royalty. The 273.5lb (124kg) dumbbell evaded being lifted by the strongest men on the planet for some time. Even now - each year at the Arnold not all competitors can complete 1 rep with the 274 pound piece of history.

This year is the first that the athletes will attempt the 300lb lift.

Who do you think will raise the bar to new heights? Let us know what you think below!

Thanks as usual for the incredible support and great comments.
