This Chinese Post-Apocalyptic Survival Game Has Great Plots... Lots of Plots! - Dawn Break

Dawn Break is a third-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic end of the world scenario, mixing sci-fi elements with exploration, survival, combat and a narrative thread following Li Shiya. In this first impressions video, I jump in to see how the gameplay, story and overall feel come together. It’s definitely rough around the edges with some janky combat, inconsistent assets and a story that doesn’t quite land, but there are flashes of interesting ideas with enemy design and progression systems. Despite its issues, I still found myself having fun with it, which makes this one a bit of a mixed but intriguing experience.

In 2039, tsunamis of varying degrees occurred all over the world, and multiple small black holes inexplicably appeared in the sky, ruthlessly devouring the world. At first, scientists believed that this phenomenon was a common natural disaster, until one day, a test report shocked the world.
